How counselling works

Sessions are 50 minutes long. We would meet once a week and allow you to explore your situation or issues. The counselling relationship is a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk about difficult subjects in order to gain greater understanding. Through my training in various theories and my years of experience working as a counsellor, I can offer useful perspectives that may help such as:

* help understanding your relationship patterns
* clarity on how the past impacts the present
* tools to help manage emotions and anxieties

Write / Mind

You'd be amazed how many people have had similar experiences to you. Some of them have written or spoken about what they have been through. Sometimes, other people can offer us new perspectives. Often the recognition that we are not alone is healing in itself.
